June 25, 2024, New Delhi, India: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the exam schedule for the Classes 10th and 12th CBSE Compartment Exam 2024 on its official website, cbse.gov.in. Students planning to appear for these exams must review the date sheet thoroughly. The exams will take place from July 15 to 22, 2024. Schools must submit the List of Candidates (LOC) through the Exam Sangam link to ensure their students’ eligibility.

CBSE Compartment Exam 2024

A total of 1,32,337 candidates are eligible for the Class 10th CBSE Compartment Exam 2024, while 1,22,170 candidates are eligible for the Class 12th CBSE Compartment Exam 2024. Most Class 10th exams are scheduled from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, except for the Computer Application and Information Technology exams on July 22, which will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Class 12th exams will generally be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, with some exceptions for specific subjects like Hindustani Music, Painting, Commercial Art, various dance forms, Yoga, and Artificial Intelligence, which will be conducted from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

“Class 12 students will have an opportunity to enhance their marks through a supplementary exam in one subject, while Class 10 students can do so in two subjects,” said CBSE Controller of Examinations, Sanyam Bhardwaj.

In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the CBSE has renamed the “Compartment” examinations to “Supplementary” examinations. These exams will follow the same syllabus as the main board exams, providing students another chance to improve their scores.

The CBSE Board Results 2024 were declared on May 13, 2024. This year, 87.98% of students passed the Class 12th exams, an improvement from last year’s 87.3%. A notable number of students, 24,068, secured over 95% marks in 2023. The performance of students has increased compared to last year.

Students can download their admit cards by visiting the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in. Detailed instructions for downloading will be provided on the website.

CBSE Supplementary Exam Result 2024

The results for the supplementary exams will be released on the CBSE website. Students are advised to regularly check the site for updates.
