NEW DELHI, July 23, 2024 – The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has announced the registration dates for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Prospective candidates can begin registering on August 24, with the application process closing on September 26 without a late fee and on October 7 with a late fee. The GATE 2025 examination is set to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, and will be conducted in a computer-based format.

- 1-mark MCQ: 1/3 mark deducted for wrong answers.
- 2-mark MCQ: 2/3 mark deducted for wrong answers.
- No negative marking for multiple select questions (MSQs) or numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
