Genshin Impact, the popular open-world RPG game, has announced its latest update, Version 4.5, which will launch on March 13, 2024. The update, titled “Blades Weaving Betwixt Brocade”, will bring new content, features, and improvements to the game. Here are some of the highlights of what’s new in Version 4.5:
New Character: Chiori
Chiori, the genius fashion designer from Inazuma and owner of Chioriya Boutique in Fontaine, will join the game as a 5-star Geo sword wielder. She can summon her automaton doll and design assistant, “Tamoto”, to deal damage based on her Defense and Attack. She can also draw her twin blades and execute a powerful slash that deals AoE Geo damage. Chiori will be featured in the first half of the Version 4.5 Event Wishes, along with Arataki Itto.
New Event: Alchemical Ascension
In the new seasonal event, “Alchemical Ascension”, players will help Lisa and the Knights of Favonius develop the local alchemical potion business in Mondstadt. Players will have to cultivate ingredients, concoct potions, and sell them to customers. As the revenue increases, players can expand the business by buying more facilities and bottles. Players can also meet familiar faces and exchange rewards, such as the exclusive 4-star polearm “Dialogues of the Desert Sages”.
New Features: Training Guide and Chronicled Wish
Version 4.5 will also introduce some new features to the game, such as:
- Training Guide: A new info hub that provides various suggestions for developing characters in the party, such as recommended weapons, artifacts, Materia, and team compositions.
- Chronicled Wish: A new type of Wish that brings back 5-star characters and weapons from previous versions, such as Albedo, Eula, Mona, Klee, Diluc, Jean, and more.
Other Improvements and Optimizations
Version 4.5 will also bring some other improvements and optimizations to the game, such as:
- New weapons, Materia, and accessories to collect and upgrade.
- New quests, achievements, and domains to explore and complete.
- New enemies, bosses, and challenges to face and defeat.
- New outfits and wind gliders to customize the characters.
- Bug fixes and performance enhancements.
