23 June 2024 | Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh: A gas cylinder explosion in New Defence Colony, Teela Mod Thana area of Ghaziabad on June 22, 2024, caused three deaths and injured four others. Bagmati (35), Himani (18), and Priyanka (16) passed away. Nathuram (55), Mukesh (40), Sonu (35), and Ankit (17) are being treated for severe injuries in the hospital.
The explosion occurred while cooking, causing a fire that rapidly spread throughout the house. A police officer on the scene stated, “The fire broke out in the house due to a cylinder blast, resulting in the death of a woman and two girls. Four seriously injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.” The fire brigade and police responded promptly to control the blaze and prevent further casualties.
