CHENNAI, India, July 31, 2024 – The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) and IDBI Bank have inaugurated a state-of-the-art cybersecurity lab. The ‘IDBI – IITM Secure Systems Lab’ (I2SSL) will develop advanced security solutions for crucial industries including healthcare, fintech, and aerospace. This collaboration between IIT Madras and IDBI Bank marks a significant step towards strengthening India’s digital defenses.

Market-Ready Cybersecurity Solutions

The I2SSL, a joint initiative of IIT Madras and IDBI Bank, aims to create market-ready intellectual properties (IPs) in cybersecurity.
