NEW DELHI, August 13, 2024 – The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), has launched a transformative free online course focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL). Scheduled to begin on 19 August, 2024, this course aims to provide professionals, students, and researchers with in-depth knowledge and practical skills, particularly in geospatial applications.

Eligibility & Registration Process

This course is open to professionals, students, and researchers across fields such as computer science, civil engineering, data analytics, geomatics and geoinformatics. How to Register:

  • Nodal Centre Registration: Requires approval from the center’s coordinator.
  • Individual Registration: Automatically approved upon completing the online form.

  1. Visit the IIRS-ISRO website and choose your registration method (nodal center or individual).
  2. Complete the registration form as required.
  3. Receive login credentials for ISRO’s Learning Management System (LMS) after approval.

Note: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants who complete the course with at least 70% attendance will receive a Course Participation Certificate, a valuable addition to professional credentials.
