KEA PGCET 2024 Postponed Due to University Exams; Application Re-registration Open at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam, which was initially slated to be held on July 13 and 14, has been postponed by the KEA due to a clash with several University semester exams.

June 26, 2024, Karnataka: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka PGCET 2024 exams due to overlapping with the semester exams of some universities. The exam authority has also informed that they will announce the revised dates of the exam soon, and has opened the re-registration window for the PGCET 2024 exam. 

Candidates who have not registered for the PGCET 2024 exam can now do so at the official website of cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam was originally scheduled for July 13 and 14 at multiple exam centres across the state for admission to various PG courses. But, after receiving several requests from the students due to their final semester exam scheduled to be conducted on the same date, the KEA then decided to postpone the exam.

“To protect the student’s interest, KEA has postponed the PGCET-2024 exam scheduled to be held on 13 and 14th July 2024 and the revised dates will be published in the KEA PGCET 2024 website in due course,” an official statement from the KEA stated. 

The last date to apply for Karnataka PGCET 2024 is July 7 till 11:59 pm, whereas the fee payment window will stay open till July 9 at 6:00 pm. No further extension is provided in this application window.

How to apply for KEA PGCET 2024 exam?

  • Visit the official website of KEA, www.cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea 
  •  Under ‘Latest Announcements’, click on the notification ‘PGCET 2024 EXTENDED ONLINE APPLICATION LINK’. 
  • Enter your login details and submit. 
  • Fill the application form and upload the documents.
  • Pay the application fee and then submit the form. 
  • Take a printout or save a copy of the confirmation page for future reference. 

 

Karnataka KEA PGCET 2024 : Registration Fee

For General (UR) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates, the registration fee is Rs. 650. On the other hand, for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, the registration fee is Rs. 500. Fees can be paid using credit cards, debit cards, UPI, or net banking.
