June 21, 2024, Nalanda University: With the recent inauguration of its new campus, Nalanda University has started inviting applications for admission to its various courses. The university offers postgraduate, doctoral, and certificate courses, alongside scholarships for international students, cutting across several disciplines.
Located in the town of Rajgir in the northern province of Bihar in India, Nalanda University is a postgraduate, research-intensive international university. The new campus spans 100 acres and combines eco-friendly architecture, thus achieving a net-zero carbon footprint. The new campus also features two academic blocks with 40 classrooms, two administrative blocks and two auditoriums seating over 300 hostels for 550 students and 197 academic housing units.
Nalanda University Admission: Schools of Studies
The university currently operates six schools. These are –

Nalanda University Admission: Eligibility Criteria
Master’s program: Candidates need to have a minimum of three years Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in the relevant language or any subject with at least 55% aggregate marks or 2.2/4.0 GPA or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) in Undergraduate degree.
For MBA in Sustainable Development and Management, in addition to the above criteria, a minimum score of 70 percentile in CAT or XAT or MAT is required for Indian students. For international students, a minimum credit score/GPA at Undergraduate level to be 3.0/4.0 GPA or equivalent GPA or relevant GMAT score is required.
PhD program: Candidates must have at least 65% aggregate in a relevant stream or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA), preferably with dissertation at Masters’ level or M.Phil. degree with 65% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA).
Postgraduate Diploma: For PG Diploma, candidates should possess a minimum three-year Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject.
