July 2, 2024, New Delhi: The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has announced the commencement of applications for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) for the academic year 2024-25. This scholarship provides financial aid of Rs. 12,000 annually to meritorious students from economically weaker sections, helping them continue their education in Class 9 at government, government-aided, and local body schools across India. Introduction to NMMSS 2024-25
