NOIDA, July 14, 2024 – A significant step towards the development of New Noida Project has been taken with the approval of a ₹1,000 crore budget. This milestone sets the stage for land acquisition and infrastructure development in a 203-square-kilometer area near Noida and Greater Noida. The project aims to create a modern urban area modeled after advanced foreign cities.
The New Noida Project receives approval for the 1st Budget Installment of ₹1000 crore by NOIDA AUTHORITY. This is a part of the Master Plan 2041 and will make this city over next to Noida & Greater Noida (upcoming Modi town on total land area planned in initial phase approximately 203 sq. km.) Here the funds would be used in land acquisition under a land pooling scheme and will convert 14,000 hectares of farm from 84 villages in Gautam Buddha Nagar & Bulandshahr into an active megacity.
Strategic Location and Zoning
New Noida will be located next to Dadri and Sikandrabad and will feature three zones: North Zone, Central Zone, and South Zone. These zones will ensure balanced development and connectivity with Noida, Greater Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad, and the Noida International Airport, enhancing the city’s accessibility and infrastructure.
Comprehensive Planning and Industrial Focus
Dr. Lokesh M., CEO of Noida Authority, emphasized that a detailed plan for land acquisition is in place, aligning with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision. The Noida Authority will oversee administrative activities, ensuring efficient development and maintenance. The Noida Project will address the limitations of current urban areas by providing advanced facilities and infrastructure. A special economic zone connecting Dadri, Noida, and Ghaziabad is also planned to boost industrial growth and economic activity.
Future Prospects
With the initial budget approved, New Noida is set to become a landmark urban development, reflecting modern planning and strategic foresight. The Noida Project promises to enhance regional infrastructure, economic growth, and urban living standards, drawing inspiration from successful international models.
As land acquisition and development plans advance, New Noida is poised to significantly impact the local economy and urban landscape. For more details on the New Noida and its progress, visit the Noida Authority’s official website at noidaauthorityonline.com.
