The problem peaked when a fault occurred around 3:30 am in Sector-71, resulting in an extended power outage. Chief Engineer Sanjeev Kumar Vaishya addressed the issue by suspending Junior Engineer Pradeep Kumar for negligence in managing the power supply.
Supply Disrupted for 10 to 12 Hours
Residents reported power supply disruptions lasting up to 12 hours. The faults in power lines and substations were not managed properly, leading to extended outages. This negligence prompted swift action from the electricity board.
Chief Engineer Sanjeev Kumar Vaishya has formed a committee to investigate the incident. “The negligence of electricity board officials has caused significant inconvenience to residents,” said Vaishya. “We are committed to ensuring such incidents do not recur.”
