Ghaziabad, July 23, 2024 – A groundbreaking transport project is set to transform the connectivity of the National Capital Region (NCR). The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Rapid Metro connecting Ghaziabad to Jewar International Airport has been submitted, promising significant benefits for residents of Noida, Delhi, Meerut, and surrounding areas.

DPR Submitted for Rapid Rail

The DPR, submitted by a leading consultancy, outlines a comprehensive plan for the new rail corridor, including elevated and underground sections. The final station will be at the Ground Transport Center (GTC) near Jewar International Airport.

Dr. Arunvir Singh, CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, announced that the project is awaiting approval from state and central governments. Once approved, construction will commence, promising significant improvements in regional transport efficiency.

Dr. Arunvir Singh stated, “This project will significantly boost connectivity and economic growth in the NCR. Our aim is to create a world-class transport network through strategic planning and integration.”
