NEW DELHI, July 22, 2024 – Twelve students from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology – Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) have qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024, which begins on July 26. KIIT and KISS founder, Achyuta Samanta, announced a cash reward of Rs 7 lakh for each athlete to honor their remarkable achievements.

Historic Milestone for KIIT and KISS

Samanta highlighted the illustrious history of KIIT and KISS in producing top-tier athletes. The institutions have nurtured 20 Olympians and 2 Paralympians who represented India in the 2016 Rio Olympics, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and now the 2024 Paris Olympics.
