VALORANT, the popular tactical shooter game from Riot Games, has released a new patch that brings some changes to the Premier Mode. Premier Mode is a competitive mode that allows players to draft their agents and maps before each match.
The patch 8.04 introduces some updates to the Premier Mode, such as:
- The map pool has been reduced from seven to five maps. The maps that are currently available are Bind, Haven, Icebox, Breeze, and Fracture.
- The map draft order has been changed to make it more fair and balanced. The team with the higher average rank will now ban first, pick second, and ban last. The team with the lower average rank will now pick first, ban second, and pick last.
- The agent draft order has been changed to make it more dynamic and strategic. The team that picks the map will now pick their agents first, followed by the other team. The order will then alternate between the teams until all agents are picked.
The patch 8.04 also fixes some bugs and improves the performance and stability of the game. The full patch notes can be found on the official VALORANT website.
