Education experts believe that the centralized system will greatly benefit students by reducing the stress and complexity associated with applying to multiple colleges.
“This system is designed to be more efficient and accessible, ensuring that students can focus more on their studies rather than the admission process,” said Dr. Shreya Banerjee, an education analyst.
The centralized admission system was introduced to streamline the UG admission process, providing a single platform for applications. However, some institutions opted out of this system to maintain their independent admission procedures.
While the centralized system offers numerous benefits, it also presents challenges such as potential delays in the admission process and technical issues with the portal. Students and parents are advised to keep a close watch on the official announcements and prepare their documents in advance to avoid last-minute hassles.
The initiation of the UG admission process through a centralized portal marks a significant step towards simplifying the educational landscape in West Bengal. Students are encouraged to utilize the portal efficiently and adhere to the deadlines to secure their admissions.
